In a national first, Te Whai Ao – Dodd-Walls Centre has coordinated a simultaneous showing of Parque de las Ciencias' film "Travelling with Light" across the three digital planetaria in the country. This film explores the importance of light in all areas of our lives - from the creation of the universe to life on earth, from the evolution of humanity to the forefront of communication, medicine, and art! Each venue will also offer associated hands-on demonstrations into the science of light to accompany the showing.
